✅ Selection Process and Exam Pattern:
- Phase-I online written examination by MPESB.
- Physical Proficiency Test by the Police Department.
- Document Verification.
- Driving / Trade Test, which is qualifying.
- Medical Examination.
- Final selection on written-examination percentile, after qualifying the physical and trade tests.
The written test has 100 MCQs and 100 marks in 2 hours. There is no negative marking. Each correct answer carries 1 mark. Subjects are General Knowledge and Logical Knowledge (40), Intellectual Ability and Mental Aptitude (30), and Science and Simple Mathematics (30). Up to 7 times the vacancies can be shortlisted for the physical test.
The Physical Proficiency Test is of 40 marks. Constable (Driver) candidates have one attempt in the 800-metre race. Minimum 20% marks in that event and at least 8 marks out of 40 are required.
Physical standards – Special Armed Force: UR/OBC male 168 cm height, chest 79–84 cm. Gorkha/Garhwali/Kumaoni male 157 cm, chest 79–84 cm. Maratha/SC/ST male 165 cm, chest 79–84 cm.
Physical standards – District Police Force: UR/SC/OBC male 168 cm height, chest 81–86 cm. ST male 160 cm, chest 76–81 cm. No relaxation in physical measurement is mentioned.
The online examination begins from 04 January 2027 in two shifts: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Aadhaar-based biometric verification is mandatory.
