✅ GIMS Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Nationality: Citizen of India.
  • Educational Qualification (as on last date of application):
    • Option-1: B.Sc Nursing (4 years course) from an Indian Nursing Council / State Medical Faculty recognized Institute or University OR B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic) (2 Years Course) from an INC recognized institute/university; AND Registered as Nurse & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council.
    • Option-2: Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an INC recognized Institute / Board or Council; Registered as Nurse & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council; AND Two years experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after acquiring the above qualification.
  • Age Limit (as on 01.07.2026): Minimum 21 years and Maximum 40 years.
  • Age Relaxation (as per UP Govt. rules):
    • SC / ST / OBC of Uttar Pradesh – 05 years
    • Permanent UP Government employees with at least 03 years regular continuous service in relevant field – up to 05 years
    • Persons with Disabilities – 15 years
    • Ex-Servicemen – 03 years after deducting military service from actual age (subject to conditions in the notification)
  • Persons dismissed by the Union Government or any State Government are not eligible.

  • Computer Based Test (CBT) – Objective type questions related to Nursing (80% theoretical knowledge + 20% practical knowledge)
